Risk Factors for Substance Use Among LGBTQ+ Latinx Youth and Adults: A Scoping Review

The purpose of this scoping review was to evaluate the existing literature to understand risk factors for substance use among sexual and gender diverse (SGD) Latinx/e youth and young adults (YYA).

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify gaps in the Literature of substance abuse in Latinx SGD YAA populations.
  2. Learn of the current state of research on addiction for Latinx, sexual and gender minority, and youth and young adult populations.
  3. Generate ideas for potential research on the need of SDG populations within the Latinx community.
