Crafting Collaborations That Benefit Students, Clients, and Community

When a university partners with a low-income residency for older adults and individuals with disabilities, the results are exponential. Join us in exploring how we addressed social isolation and well-being for approximately 257 residents while providing interdisciplinary student learning for 300 students through this interactive workshop.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify two actions you could implement into your current programming or to start new programming
  2. Identify one community partner to collaborate with in providing intergenerational learning.
  3. Compare and contrast the impact of intergenerational programming for students and older adults.
