India continues to experience the legacy of colonialism, limiting initiatives to provide local language education to tribal groups and preserve their cultural traditions. This study explores the Gond tribes' struggle to regain their Indigenous knowledge sovereignty by challenging postcolonial educational standards through democratic constitutional means.
